Population is the same kind of living things living in one place. Bison grazing in a meadow is a type of population. Community is the different populations in one area. Animals in a population might team up with each other to hunt. They travel together and protect each other from predators trying to eat them. As you can see, animals in a population help each other to survive in their community.
