The Native children had to work too. They kept animals out of gardens, frightened birds out of grain fields, helped their mothers, and weeded gardens. They even went to church-school to learn about Christianity.

The girls wake up in the morning and starts chores. They start with plowing the fields until breakfast was ready. After breakfast,
