There are many different kinds of rocks. Some rocks are Sedimentary Rocks, Metamorphic Rocks, and Igneous Rocks. Here is a list of the kind of rocks: sedimentary rocks: Orthoclase, Plagioclase, Amphibole, Pyroxene, Biotite, Muscovite, Chlorite, metamorphic rocks: Bauxite, Limestone, Dolostone, Breccia, Conglomerate, Shale, Mudstone, Bituminous Coal, Sandstone, Halite, Gypsum, Chalk, Coquina, igneous rocks: Gabbro, Granite, Alkali- Granite, Plagio- Granodiorite, Monzonite, Monzonite, Quartz, Obsidian, Peridotite, Pumice.
