Decomposers are very important to the ecosystem. But what are decomposers? Decomposers are organisms that break down waste. Decomposers also help the environment by recycling matter. Without decomposers matter would not be recycled which is a bad thing. When decomposers break down waste, they give food to the soil and water. Types of decomposers are
fungi,
slime molds, worms, and incects. Decomposers are very important.
